Sustainable Energy Minor

The Sustainable Energy minor equips students with a broad understanding of global energy systems, emphasizing both technical and societal dimensions. As energy demand rises and climate challenges intensify, this program prepares future energy leaders to evaluate and develop sustainable energy strategies. Students study a range of energy sources including renewables, fossil fuels, and emerging technologies as well as explore their environmental impacts, long-term viability, and socio-political implications. The curriculum fosters informed decision-making and innovation at the intersection of science, engineering, policy, and equity.
